Design Your Dock
VoyageR Docks are designed to be configured in many layouts to suit your particular needs and budget. Roll-in docks of any length can be created and installed with wheels at maximum 48’ intervals. For example; a 64' configuration would include two 32’ roll-in docks connected with one articulating hinge; or a 96' configuration would include two 48’ roll-in docks connected with a articulating hinge. For the shore end, VoyageR Dock offers two options in additional to setting the dock on the beach; a shore standing leg kit or a shore wheel kit. A shore wheel kit does simplify both the installation and removal process. Please review your DNR dock requirements. MN General Dock Permit
Install Your Dock
Upon assembly of your new dock, just push the dock into the desired lake location, adjust the screw jacks on the lake end to desired height above water surface (we recommended 10"-12"), then set the shore end to desired height. Measure to install post material (flush or above deck) while leveling the dock at section joints. Add the decking material so the Titan logo can be read when you are walking from the dock to shore, this ensures the interlocking of decking panels fit into the dock sections and ease of removal when you remove your dock. Now enjoy your favorite beverage at the lake end of your VoyageR dock.
Remove Your Dock
Over the course of the season, docks can become firmly lodged in the lake with sediments and as they sink into the lake bottom. To make the dock lighter and easy to remove, it is recommended that the decking material be removed and stacked on the beach. If you have a long dock with articulating hinges, you will need to remove each roll-in dock individually to avoid damage to your VoyageR dock thereby voiding the manufactures warranty. Raise the support legs to clear all obstacles that may be in the way when you pull the dock out. Be careful and pull slowly to free the dock loose from the lake bottom. When you have the dock on the beech, lower the legs to support the dock for off-season. |
